More about the controversy The row began after local leader Amol Kanekar alleged Ashwin Mushran was involved in a collision with a biker in Goa, claiming a piece of the biker’s bone was lodged in the car’s tyre fender.

A case has instead been registered against his driver, Vasant Puttappa Laman, 32, who was behind the wheel during the collision.Two people were injured after the car, in which Mushran was travelling, collided with a scooter in Goa’s Kushawati district.
