Asian Games Medal Tally: India win 8 medals but remain outside top 10

Yashvir Singh, Rohit Yadav, and Esha Singh NEW DELHI: India produced another strong medal haul at the Asian Games 2026 on Monday, winning eight medals across athletics, shooting and kurash.

However, the impressive collection did not bring any change in the overall standings, with India remaining 12th as the country continued to wait for another gold medal.India added four silver and four bronze medals during the day but could not increase its gold tally.
