Bhuvneshwar Kumar returns Veteran pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar has made a much-anticipated return to India’s T20I setup after nearly four years, headlining the squads announced for the upcoming New Zealand tour.Bhuvneshwar’s recall comes after an impressive IPL 2026 campaign, where he claimed 28 wickets.

His last T20I appearance for India also came against New Zealand in Napier on November 22, 2022.The 36-year-old now has the opportunity to make his international comeback against the same opposition.

Abhishek Sharma, Sanju Samson, Ishan Kishan and teenage sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi are also part of the squad.Five-match T20I series India will play five T20Is in New Zealand, beginning in Christchurch on October 22.
