Image caption, Kathryn Bryce's century was her sixth in List A matches ByDan WheelerBBC Sport England Published 21 minutes ago Brilliant hundreds from Kathryn Bryce and Georgia Elwiss propelled The Blaze to their highest List A total as they comfortably beat Durham to stay in control at the top of the One-Day Cup table.
Bryce's 136 and a career-best unbeaten 134 from Elwiss saw the home side rack up 356-4 as the Durham attack toiled at Trent Bridge.
Rain did reduced the visitors' target to 277 from 34 overs, but it proved too much despite spirited half centuries from Mady Villiers (65) and Bess Heath (57) as Blaze notched a 10th win in 12, by 59 runs on Duckworth-Lewis-Stern.
Elsewhere there was a fourth List-A century by Georgia Adams as Hampshire stayed in second place with a four-wicket win against Surrey.
Adams' 115 enabled the visitors to chase down 229 with more than eight overs to spare and maintain their hopes of an automatic spot in the final next month.
Outstanding hundreds were also scored at Chelmsford as Somerset openers Bex Odgers and Sophie Luff helped hammer Essex by eight wickets.
Odgers struck an unbeaten 133 and captain Luff 103 in a partnership of 223 to set up Somerset's big win and strengthen their chances of qualification, after Essex had recovered from a poor start to post 266-8.
Warwickshire also remain in the hunt for the knockout stage after a 57-run win over Yorkshire in a reduced-overs match at Edgbaston, with Meg Austin's 91 holding their total of 269-9 together as the visitors ultimately finished well short on 202.
The Blaze's bid to stay top of the pile at Trent Bridge.
Having set a dauting target of 357 off the back of Bryce and Elwiss's stunning stand of 233 - a record for the club and for the third wicket in the One-Day Cup - afternoon showers 10 overs into the Durham reply revised their chase to 277 from 34 overs on a Duckworth-Lewis-Stern calculation.
They soon slipped to 83-3 though, before Mady Villiers (65) and Bess Heath (57) mustered some middle-order resistance.
But when Villiers was bowled by Bryce, hopes of pulling off a win fell away with the wickets, with captain Kirstie Gordon (4-54) and Charley Phillips (3-44) helping to wrap up the Durham effort at 217.
Adams' all-round brilliance sees Hampshire home Image source, Shutterstock Image caption, Georgia Adams hit two sixes and 15 fours in her innings of 115 Adams' superb effort with the bat was the second part of a brilliant all-round performance from the visitors' skipper who brought herself on at second change to shift the momentum of the Surrey innings.
After reaching 69-0 in the 10th over, Adams removed Rachel King (45) with her fourth ball and then Alice Monaghan (36) barely two overs later to peg Surrey back to 86-2.
That set up fellow spinner Amanda-Jade Wellington to capitalise as she ripped out the middle order, with only Alice Davidson-Richards' 61 offering any resistance as Surrey slumped to 228 all out with nearly six overs left of their innings.
Adams then got Hampshire's reply off to a lively start with Ella McCaughan (22) as they raced to 50 at better than a run a ball.
Despite the loss of Abi Norgrove and Francesca Sweet in a run of losing 3-43, Adams held the chase together brilliantly, bringing her hundred up off 92 balls, courtesy of a 15th four as she and Nancy Harman (37*) sealed an excellent win.
Warwickshire and Somerset stay in contention Image source, Shutterstock Image caption, Em Arlott produced a fine all-round performance for Warwickshire to see off Yorkshire At Edgbaston, Austin looked on course for her second century in three innings for the Bears before she offered a return catch to Jess Woolston six runs short.
But Em Arlott's 44 from just 19 balls and Brooke Halliday, with 37, made sure the momentum was never badly lost as the home side reached 269-9, with Claudie Cooper (4-55) the pick of the Yorkshire attack.
Rain in Birmingham saw the visitors' target brought down to 260 in 46 overs but Arlott returned to wreak early havoc with the ball, ending up with 3-24, with Phoebe Brett (3-59) backing her up to make sure Yorkshire's threat was snuffed out despite a gallant 52 from Sterre Kalis.
The win moved Warwickshire up to third in the table and firmly in contention for a top-three finish with four games to go.
Somerset crush Essex At Chelmsford, bottom club Essex were soundly beaten by Somerset as openers Odgers and Luff crashed centuries in a marvellous stand of 223 for the first wicket.
Odgers' 133 came off 124 balls and Luff's effort of 103 was compiled off 96 as the pair broke the back of their chase of 267 on their own.
That took the limelight away from the way Essex recovered from 15-2 to reach 184 thanks to a gutsy stand of 169 between Jodi Grewcock (87) and Sophia Smale, who went on to make a career-best 83.
Liberty Heap's 39 took Essex beyond 250 before she was removed by Ellie Anderson (3-44), but the brilliance of Odgers and Luff made sure that was never enough.
