However, it felt like shahid was trying too hard to act all goofy and casual.
Sort of felt forced.
Kritis arch was also somewhat awkward in the beginning and Rashmikas storyline was also too weird.
Could not relate.
I felt they could have come up with something better for the first half.
I kept comparing it to cocktail 1.
Then the second half began.
It started growing on me.
Somehow the story got better.
I started relating to me and my friends’ stories.
Shahid redeems himself.
At one point when he looks at Kriti, without saying anything, I could feel what he’s feeling.
And then he looks at Rashmika later.
Overall decent movie.
Both pluses and minuses.
Feel like Kriti is being overly praised.
She’s good but don’t think it’s her career best performance.
Rashmika is ok.
Her lips seem weird to me.
Have seen better performances of hers.
Shahid is good too.
Again not the best or most memorable.
But works.
Overall story, writing could have been better.
Good actors.
Not so good storyline and direction I think."
