The Indian contingent will look to carry the momentum into Tuesday (July 28) with several medal hopefuls and crucial knockout contests lined up across weightlifting, boxing, athletics and swimming.The day's action begins in the swimming pool, where Sajan Prakash will compete in the men's 50m butterfly heats, while Srihari Nataraj will be in action in the 100m backstroke heats.
Both swimmers will aim to book their places in the evening semifinals.

Later in the evening, Parveen Hooda takes on England's Sacha Hickey in the women's 65kg quarterfinal, while Jadumani Singh faces Mwengo Mwale of Zambia in the men's 55kg event.
