They have been part of Brendon McCullum's squad currently taking on India in an ODI series, with the third and final game set for Sunday at Lord's.
Banton is yet to start in the series but Dawson played in the first ODI defeat before missing Thursday's four-wicket win in Cardiff.
Hampshire and Somerset made it to Finals Day with entertaining quarter-final wins - the Hawks saw off Essex at Utilita Bowl by 75 runs, while defending champions Somerset dramatically beat Yorkshire.
Banton was released by England for that quarter-final but disappointed with the bat, dismissed for one run off five balls.
Dawson was not granted to play for Hampshire in their quarter-final having produced some career-best numbers for England in the first ODI against India the day before.
The left-hand spinner scored 68 runs - his highest score for England in any format - then bowled just two overs.
Finals Day gets underway at Edgbaston at 11:00 BST with the first semi-final between Northamptonshire Steelbacks and Somerset.
Hampshire Hawks will then take on Notts Outlaws at 14:30, before the final at 18:45.
