The man was evacuated by helicopter and confirmed to be a Chinese citizen by the Prime Minister's Office.
The floods, likely caused by a glacier collapse on August 26, have killed at least 1,300 people, with over 5,000 still missing and around 500 workers believed trapped in tunnels across 12 hydropower projects.

The order came after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Ukraine would halt airstrikes during the US visit and urged Moscow to do the same.

The resolution was passed with 164 votes in favour, with the US voting against and six countries abstaining.
India supported the resolution, with its delegate emphasising that different projections serve different purposes and that the resolution should remain technologically neutral.
