Google host its annual Made by Google event today wherein it launched the Google Pixel 11 series devices. The new Pixel 11 series succeeds the Pixel 10 series that launched around the same time globally last year. As is customary, this year's Pixel 11 series includes four smartphone models. The series starts with the Pixel 11 as the base model. It is supplemented by the Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL, which get almost similar set of features barring one key factor – the screen size. In addition to this Google also introduced the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, which is the successor to last year's Pixel 10 Pro Fold. The Pixel 11 series get a bunch of new and improved features, such as a more efficient 2nm chipset, smarter cameras and a new HiLight feature. We'll take you through all these features and more in detailed description below.

Google Pixel 11: Top features

The Google Pixel 11 is the base model in the Pixel 11 series and it gets a 6.3-inch Actua OLED display with a 1080 x 2424 resolution, up to 120Hz of variable screen refresh rate, up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. The back glass also gets Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. It is powered by Google's in-house Tensor G6 system-on-chip that is coupled with the company's Titan M3 security chip and 12GB of RAM. It comes in 256GB and 512GB of storage space variants. It gets a 4,985mAh battery that supports 30W of fast charging capability and up to 25W of Qi2.2 wireless charging capability.

On the camera front, this smartphone comes with a triple rear camera setup, which includes a 48MP wide angle lens with Quad PD and macro focus and 85-degree field of view, a 13MP ultra-wide angle lens with 120-degree field of view and a 10.8MP dual PD telephoto lens with optical image stabalisation feature. On the front it has a 10.5MP dual PD lens with 95-degree ultrawide field of view. Users also get access to a host of camera features such as Face Unblur, Auto Unblur, Magic Capture and more. The rear and front cameras supports up to 4K of video recording at 60fps.

This smartphone runs Android 17 and it comes in Frost, Pistachio, Hibiscus and Obsidian colour variants.

Google Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL: Top features

The Pixel 11 Pro and the Pixel 11 Pro XL come with almost the same set of features. This means you get the same Google Tensor G6 processor under the hood that is paired with Titan M3 security chip, up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage space. The cameras too are similar. Both get a triple rear camera setup at the back, which includes a 50MP Quad Octa PD wide angle lens, a 48MP Quad Octa PD ultra-wide angle lens and a 48MP Quad Octa PD telephoto lens with optical image stabalisation feature. On the front, they have a 42MP Dual PD camera. Both these phones support up to 8K video recording at up to 30fps.

Coming to the differences, the Pixel 11 Pro gets a 6.3-inch Super Actua OLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 2856 pixels, up to 120Hz of screen refresh rate, up to 3,600 nits of peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. It is backed by a 4,850mAh battery with 30W charging tecnology. The Pixel 11 Pro XL, on the other hand, gets a 6.8-inch Super Actua OLED display with a resolution of 1344 x 2992 pixel, up to 120Hz of screen refresh rate, up to 3,600 nits of peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. It is backed by a 5,115mAh battery with 45W charging technology.

Both these phones come with Gemini Intelligence and a new HiLight feature which is an array of ambient LED lights built around the camera’s flash that gives users light-based communications on the back of the phone. Google says that when the phone is face down, HiLight gently glows to give them a visual cue to pick up your phone, or stay in the moment. This feature is available exclusively in Pixel 11 Pro series devices.

Both these smartphones run Android 17 and they are available in Canyon, Olive, Fog and Obsidian colour variants.

Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold: Top features

Google's foldable display smartphone, that is the Pixel 11 Pro Fold gets a 6.5-inch Super Actua OLED outer display with a resolution of 1080 x 2342 pixels, up to 3,600 nits of peak brightness and HDR support. On the inside it gets an 8-inch Super Actua Flex OLED display with a peak brightness of up to 3,600 nits, HDR support, Ultra Thing Glass, and a resolution of 2076 x 2152 pixels. Like the rest of the series, it is also powered by the Google Tensor G6 processor and the company's Titan M3 security chip. This chip is coupled with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage space. Coming to the battery, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is backed by a 4,750mAh battery that is supported by 30W charger and a 25W wireless charger.

On the camera front, it gets a triple camera setup at the back, which includes a 48MP Quad PD wide angle lens, a 10.5MP Dual PD ultra-wide angle lens with autofocus and a 10.8MP Dual PD telephoto lens with optical image stabalisation feature. On the front, it gets a 10MP dual PD selfie camera and a 10MP dual PD camera. Additional features include Gemini Intelligence and HiLight, IP68 dust and water protection, ultra-durable glass ceramic cover glass, Multi-alloy steel with an aerospace-grade high-strength aluminium alloy cover.

This smartphone runs Android 17 and it available in a single Olive colour variant.

Google Pixel 11 series India pricing

The Google Pixel 11 starts at ₹89,999, while the Pixel 11 Pro starts at ₹119,999. Similarly, the Pixel 11 Pro XL starts at ₹134,999 and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold starts at ₹186,999. All of these smartphones became available for pre-orders in India starting August 12.
