Jun 27, 2026 01:05 PM IST Mortal remains of Indians died in Qatar explosion repatriated The mortal remains of 8 Indian nationals who tragically died in the Ras Laffan accident in Qatar were sent back to India on 26 June.

Earlier, the remains of 4 of the 12 deceased were repatriated on 25 June.

The Embassy of India in Doha, in a post on X, thanked the Qatari authorities, Indian community organisations, and the Government of India for their swift support and coordination.

The Ambassador and Embassy officials also met injured Indian nationals in Al Khor.

On June 22, Embassy of India in Doha informed thar out of the 13 workers who were killed in the explosion, 12 were Indian nationals. - Mortal remains of 8 Indian nationals who unfortunately passed away in Ras Laffan accident have been repatriated to India on June 26.
