Jul 31, 2026 02:54 PM IST Karnataka to consult Opposition before decision on Cauvery water release: DK Shivakumar Karnataka Chief Minister D K Shivakumar on Friday said the state government will consult Opposition leaders and seek legal advice before deciding on the release of Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu, following the Cauvery Water Management Authority's direction to release 3,500 cusecs daily.
