Maharashtra opens NEET UG counselling 2026 registrations for MBBS and BDS seats through State CET Cell The State Common Entrance Test Cell (State CET Cell), Maharashtra, has started the online registration process for NEET UG Counselling 2026 for admission to MBBS and BDS courses.

Eligible candidates can complete the registration process through the official counselling portal from August 6, 2026.According to the official schedule, the registration window will remain open until August 12, 2026.

Candidates must also upload the required documents and complete the prescribed fee payment by August 13, 2026.

The entire counselling process, including registration, document upload and fee payment, is being conducted online through the Maharashtra CET Cell portal.Counselling schedule announcedThe State CET Cell has released the detailed schedule for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) Round 1.

Online registration will continue from August 6 to August 12, 2026, while document upload and fee payment must be completed by August 13, 2026.Online document verification will be conducted between August 7 and August 14, 2026.

The provisional merit list is scheduled to be published on August 15, 2026, followed by the final merit list and seat matrix on August 18, 2026.

Candidates will be able to fill and lock their college preferences from August 19 to August 22, 2026.

Only candidates possessing a valid Maharashtra domicile certificate and having completed Classes 10 and 12 within the state are eligible to claim these seats.

Non-domicile candidates can apply only under the institutional quota in private medical colleges.The State CET Cell has also clarified that candidates participating in subsequent counselling rounds must submit fresh college preferences, as choices filled in Round 1 will not be carried forward.
