NEET UG 2026 fee refund correction window closes today, candidates must verify bank details before deadline NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the final correction window for NEET UG 2026 application fee refund bank details today, July 7, 2026.
Candidates eligible for the refund must verify or update their account information on the official NTA NEET Portal before 11:50 PM IST.The extended window has been provided to allow candidates to correct errors in bank account details and ensure that eligible refunds are processed.
Candidates who fail to complete the final submission or verification within the deadline may face delays or non-processing of their refund.Final verification process for refund claimsCandidates must log in to the official NTA NEET Portal and check details including bank account number, bank name and IFSC code.
The account provided must belong to the candidate, a parent, or be a joint account where the candidate’s name is included.Direct link to visit the official website NTA has advised candidates who had already submitted bank details earlier to verify the information again before the closing time.

General category candidates will receive Rs 1,700, while OBC-NCL and EWS candidates will receive Rs 1,600.
Candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwD and Transgender categories will receive Rs 1,000.
NRI candidates will receive Rs 9,500.NTA has already started processing direct bank transfers in phases for candidates whose banking credentials have been successfully verified.
Bank processing charges and GST applied during the original payment will not be refunded.Timeline of refund portal updatesNTA opened the first refund portal window on May 22, 2026.
The initial deadline for submitting bank details was May 27, 2026.
The agency extended the timeline on June 22, 2026, and opened another dedicated refund portal phase on June 25, 2026, after the June 21 re-examination.The previously announced final deadline was June 30, 2026.
