Young, 33, had a three-match spell with the Bears at the end of the 2025 season and will return for the final six games of the red-ball campaign.
The right-hander, who has scored 1,215 runs in 23 Test matches, averaged 53 in his short stint at Edgbaston last summer and has scored nearly 9,000 runs in his first-class career.
He will compensate for the loss of Australia all-rounder Beau Webster, whose spell at the club is coming to an end.
Suthar, 23, played two games for Warwickshire earlier this summer - taking 11 wickets which included best figures of 5-100 in the draw at Somerset at the end of June.
He made his Test debut against Afghanistan last month and has been included in the two-Test series against Sri Lanka in August.
Suthar will be available for Warwickshire's final four games of the season.
