And at a time when some of the biggest names in the sport including Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland are on a goal-scoring spree, 41-year-old superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is yet to open his goal-scoring account in the ongoing tournament.

Portugal, however, will be hoping to produce a more clinical performance and collect their first win of the tournament when they face the World Cup debutants in their second group fixture.
