The World’s Diesel price rise is mostly caused by the Russia/Ukraine War, not Iran,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social.
Trump's post comes day after he criticised Kyiv for striking Russian oil refineries.
On Monday, NATO chief Mark Rutte said that the alliance will step up its support for Ukraine following a series of Russian drone attacks near the Ukraine-Poland border.
Rutte said that the Russian strikes “close to NATO territory” show Russian President Vladimir Putin’s “desperation and also his desire to sow fear and terror”.
“Russia is growing increasingly reckless as it continues its terrible war against Ukraine,” he added, reported Associated Press.
“He thinks that he can stop us from supporting Ukraine and that he can undermine our unity.
He is wrong,” Rutte said.
