Vaigai Cancer Care, in association with the Association of Surgeons of India (ASI), conducted the Vaigai Onco Summit 2026 here on Sunday.
The CME program brought together around 120 doctors and postgraduate medical students to discuss recent advances in cancer care.
The summit witnessed the participation of several oncologists, surgeons, physicians, and specialists.
The programme covered important areas of oncology, including breast cancer, head and neck cancers, gastrointestinal cancers and palliative care.
Deepak Chandrasekaran, Consultant Surgical Oncologist, Vaigai Cancer Care, said, “The Vaigai Onco Summit was conceived as a platform to bring the latest developments in oncology closer to doctors involved in everyday clinical practice.”

Dr. M. J. The excellent participation of eminent speakers, chairpersons, panelists and young doctors made the meeting particularly enriching.”
