Mammootty and Dhanush added another memorable chapter to their careers as they attended the 72nd National Film Awards in Ekta Nagar, Gujarat, to receive honours for their respective achievements in Indian cinema.
Mammootty was recognised as Best Actor for his performance in ‘Bramayugam’, while Dhanush’s ‘Raayan’ was named Best Tamil Film.
Director Rajkumar Periasamy and editor R Kalaivanan were also among the award recipients, adding to the significance of the occasion for the team behind their upcoming collaboration, ‘OM’.The honours were presented by President Droupadi Murmu.
Mammootty and Dhanush opted for classic traditional looks for the ceremony, with Mammootty wearing an elegant cream-white bandhgala and Dhanush appearing in a white veshti and shirt.
