Minister of Industries and Commerce T.G. Bharath Gupta on Monday (August 3, 2026) said that the coalition government in the State has delivered good governance to the people over the last two years and is bringing performance to the doorstep of the people.

The Minister conducted “Intintiki Telugu Desam” door-to-door outreach campaign at Sagu Mandi area in Kurnool city. Mr. Bharath met the residents and explained the welfare and development initiatives undertaken by the government over the last two years. He noted that the entire team under the leadership of Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is working hard to develop the State and that it is moving forward on the path of progress.

Highlighting the efforts to bring industries to the State, including visits to other parts of the country and abroad, specifically to create job opportunities for the youth, Mr. Bharath mentioned that Kurnool alone has attracted investments worth over ₹10,000 crore. He announced that Reliance would soon commence operations and that the existing Jai Raj Steel company is ready to expand its facilities with an additional investment of ₹6,000 crore.

The Minister stated that all essential infrastructure is being developed in the city and emphasized that Kurnool has witnessed unprecedented development over the past two years. He assured that immediate action is taken to resolve issues as soon as they are brought to the notice of the government.

The Minister stated that the credit for implementing welfare schemes as promised goes to the coalition government. He urged the public not to believe the false propaganda by YSR Congress Party leaders and emphasised the need for continued support for the government.
