Jul 7, 2026 09:53 PM IST India vs England 3rd T20I Live Cricket Score: Sam Curran ahead of game [On England’s start to the series] Yeah, mood’s really good.
Obviously, the first one in Durham rained off.
I thought we bowled really well there.
And then pretty clinical performance in the end at Manchester.
Tricky losing the two openers, and same with the ball.
They started with the bat, sorry.
They batted really well.
And then we pulled it back quite nicely to be 1-0 up here at Trent Bridge.
Sun’s out, small ground, so what a good place to be. [On his bowling form after returning from injury] Yeah, good.
Obviously, been injured for the last couple of months, so to get back playing full as an all-rounder has been quite nice.
The other night in Manchester, there was quite a big, strong breeze, and kept it pretty simple, to be fair.
Kind of, they have a lot of left-handers, this Indian side, with kind of six out of their top seven being left-handed.
So we planned really well.
There was a big breeze to the short side, trying to hang it out wide to most of their left-handers with the odd straight one.
Kind of bluffing guys, just making, not showing them too much of the field, giving myself a few options.
And yeah, thankfully it came out okay.
I thought we bowled really well as a group, and we thought 190 was a decent target to chase. [On his excellent 16th over in Manchester] Yeah, I think obviously, like I said, there was such a short boundary on the one side to Kishan’s leg side.
So, I feel like there he’s probably expecting me to go wide, and then again, probably not expecting the bouncer to the short side.
Just try to be as unpredictable as possible.
We felt the wicket was a little bit two-paced, so generally I probably go to my slower balls a lot more, but there I felt there was enough to bowl kind of cross-seam, and then to be able to just kind of keep them being a little bit predictable.
Because it was such a big hit at Old Trafford, the extra-cover and kind of mid-wicket, there was a big difference.
So, I kind of just thought the day for being predictable, but then we come to Trent Bridge today where it’s a lot smaller, so it could be a different plan.
