Jul 10, 2026 08:00 PM IST Novak Djokovic vs Jannik Sinner Wimbledon semifinal Live: Djokovic's epic vs Auger-Aliassime The fact that Djokovic, 39, outlasted Felix Auger-Aliassime, 25, in a five-setter that lasted five hours and 15 minutes can mean two things.
One is that Djokovic, obviously, didn't get the memo about what happens to athletes when they reach the age he is at.
Two is that this record quarterfinal fixture could take a toll on Djokovic's chances at beating Sinner today.
Djokovic beat Auger-Aliassime 7-6 (10), 3-6, 6-3, 6-7 (4), 7-6 (4).
The match was the longest ever quarterfinal at Wimbledon, eclipsing the 2008 singles quarter-final clash between Rainer Schüttler and Arnauld Clement (5h 12 min).
It was also Djokovic’s second-longest match ever at SW19, just behind his 2018 semi-final triumph over Rafael Nadal in five hours and 17 minutes.
