Mumbai defeat Railways

Delhi vs Services ends in draw

It’s a draw between Delhi and Services in Palam. Yash Dhull scores his century off 102 balls, the first of his season, and the teams shake hands soon after that. Delhi end with 168/4 in 38 overs.

Delhi need 188 runs to win

Some discussion in the middle between umpires and the teams but looks like Delhi want to continue to bat. They are currently at 132/4 in 25 overs with Dhull (73*) and Mathur (5*). They need 188 runs to win.

Railways pushing for draw

Wickets of successive deliveries by Shams Mulani is all Mumbai could manage in the post-lunch session. A 74-run unbeaten 6th wicket stand between opener Eshaan Goyal (77*) and Zubair Ali (47*) have kept Railways hopes alive of salvaging a draw. Railways 157/5 at tea.

Ayush Doseja falls before Tea

Just before tea, Nitin Tanwar dismissed Ayush Doseja (14) and Delhi are in trouble at 119/4. Yash Dhull is batting at 64 but Sumit Mathur, who scored 99 in the first innings to pull Delhi out of trouble, has very little time to do so here.

Delhi 114/3 in chase

Yash Dhull is holding one end together with an unbeaten 58 as Delhi reach 114/3 in their chase against Services. They still need 206 runs to win with seven wickets in hand, leaving the contest wide open. All three results remain possible at this stage.

Maharashtra beat Bengal by 10 wickets

Sachin Dhas (61*) and Prithvi Shaw (53*) guide Maharashtra to a comfortable 10-wicket victory over Bengal. Bengal failed to put up much of a fight with the ball in the second innings after a disappointing batting display, allowing Maharashtra to cruise to the target without losing a wicket.

Maharashtra in T20 mode

Maharashtra are treating this chase like a T20 game, racing to 100 without loss in just 16 overs. They need only 12 more runs to seal the win, with Prithvi Shaw batting on 46 and Sachin Dhas on 55.

Hyderabad in tricky position

The Hyderabad vs Chhattisgarh clash is heading towards a tense finish. Hyderabad are 198/7, needing another 61 runs to win with just three wickets remaining. The game is still finely poised, but Chhattisgarh have the edge at this stage as they look to close out the contest.

Railways in trouble

Services declare at 397/8 with a 319-run lead. A solid effort led by Mohit Ahlawat (142*), Rajat Paliwal (116*) and Jayant Goyat (31). A lot will be up to how Delhi’s explosive batters Priyansh Arya, Ayush Badoni, Yash Dhull and Ayush Doseja approach this innings, until then it looks like we’re looking at a draw.

Tripura beat Saurashtra

Tripura bowled Saurashtra out for 191 in the second innings to complete a commanding 133-run victory in their Ranji Trophy clash. Having put themselves in a strong position on Day 3, Tripura carried that momentum into the final day as Saurashtra failed to recover from their batting collapse. It was a memorable win for Tripura, who held their nerve to seal an important result.

Bengal struggle at lunch

Bengal go into lunch hanging on to a 99-run lead with two wickets remaining. Two sessions more than enough to get a result from this game.

Twin centuries for Rajat Paliwal

Services captain Rajat Paliwal has now struck twin centuries vs Delhi. His back-to-back hundreds have now helped Services build a lead of over 290 runs.

Eyes on Services timing of the declaration now — Will there be one at lunch with a lead of 300-plus, or will they push further?

Divyaansh hits century!

Maiden Ranji Trophy hundred for opener Divyaansh Saxena. Comes from the same India U19 stable as Yashasvi Jaiswal and Tilak Varma. Aayush Mhatre's injury gave him an opening and he has made it count.
