Jul 11, 2026 11:21 AM IST 200 additional buses to fare between Mumbai-Pune amid train cancellations Shubham Kurale in Pune reports that the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) will operate 200 additional daily bus trips between Mumbai and Pune following the cancellation of around 30 train services.
Heavy rainfall on July 6 caused landslides at multiple locations on the Lonavala-Karjat section, affecting train operations.
Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik said the extra services aim to ease passenger inconvenience and provide an alternative mode of travel.
