The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet on Friday (October 9, 2026) approved a proposal to rename the Noida International Airport at Jewar as ‘Narendra Modi International Airport, Noida-Jewar’, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said.
“The Uttar Pradesh Council of Ministers is grateful to the respected Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi Ji , for gifting Uttar Pradesh with the Noida International Airport, Jewar.
It is the state’s largest airport and is poised to become the nation’s largest aviation hub in the future.
Therefore, the Council of Ministers has also passed a resolution to rename Noida International Airport as “Narendra Modi International Airport.” said Mr.
Adityanath, after the meeting.
